Family Members of Reality Show “Meet the Putmans” Killed in Michigan Car Accident

Three family members involved in the reality TV series “Meet the Putmans” lost their lives in a tragic car crash in Michigan on Friday. Several others were injured in the collision.

The incident occurred when the family’s vehicle, driven by Bill “Papa” Putman, his wife Barb “Neenee,” and their daughter-in-law Megan, was struck by a semi-truck at a stop sign in a rural area of Cass City. Authorities confirmed that the semi ran the stop sign and hit their jeep, leading to their immediate deaths at the scene.

Among the injured were Blake Putman, Megan’s husband, and their children Lulu, Alena, Noah, along with their niece Gia. They were evacuated to nearby hospitals via helicopter and ambulance, with some in critical condition.

The family announced the heartbreaking news on Instagram, saying, “They have gone home to be with the Lord.” They also requested prayers for Blake, Lulu, Alena, Noah, Gia, and others in the hospital, emphasizing their hope for healing and strength during this difficult time.

Update from the family revealed that Noah remains sedated but shows signs of response, and Gia has undergone a craniotomy—brain surgery to remove part of her skull to access her brain. The medical team reported encouraging news regarding her condition, and Noah’s response to treatment provides hope.

Before the tragedy, the Putman family, who rose to fame in 2017 through their TLC series, comprised 10 adults and 20 children living under one roof.
