Trump Alleges Putin, Kim, and Xi Conspire Against US at China Military Parade
President Trump Raises Concerns Over Leaders Conspiring Against the U.S. During China’s Military Parade
President Donald Trump criticized the military parade held in Beijing, where Chinese President Xi Jinping, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un attended to mark 80 years since Japan’s World War II victory. In a post on social media, Trump warned that these leaders are plotting against the United States.
He expressed his wishes for Xi and the Chinese people to enjoy their celebration, but also added a pointed message: “Please give my warmest regards to Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un, as you conspire against The United States of America.”
Many international leaders, including several from non-Western nations, joined the parade hosted by Xi. The event featured aerial displays, marching troops, and a procession of missiles and tanks. Xi was flanked by Putin and Kim during the parade, emphasizing China’s display of military strength.
Trump questioned whether Xi Jinping might acknowledge the crucial role the U.S. played in ending WWII, specifically mentioning the American sacrifices that contributed to China’s victory. “Many Americans died supporting China’s fight for freedom and victory. I hope those sacrifices are properly recognized,” he wrote.
This commentary coincides with ongoing negotiations for a long-term trade agreement with China, following recent extensions of tariffs and trade truce initiated by Trump, aimed at preventing tariffs from rising dramatically on imports from China.
Additionally, Trump has been involved in efforts to resolve Russia’s conflict with Ukraine, which remains tense despite ongoing talks, with Russia continuing military strikes and refusing to meet with Ukrainian President Zelensky.
