Meghan Markle’s Surprising Prince Harry Confession Stuns Netflix Guest
Meghan Markle Reveals Prince Harry Dislikes Lobster
During the second season of her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, Meghan Markle shared a humorous anecdote involving her husband, Prince Harry. In an episode featuring Chef José Andrés, she mentioned that Harry isn’t a fan of lobster, saying, “You know who doesn’t like lobster? My husband.”
While Meghan didn’t specify why Harry dislikes it, the royal family generally tends to avoid shellfish due to health precautions, as shellfish can cause poisoning and is often avoided for safety reasons during their busy schedules. A former royal butler explained that avoiding seafood, especially shellfish, is a prudent choice for the royal family amid their obligations.
In a playful exchange, Chef Andrés responded, “And you married him anyway?” highlighting the humorous tone of the revelation.
Additionally, Queen Camilla has previously mentioned that garlic is a “no-no” in the royal household, to avoid any unpleasant after-effects during public engagements. She explained on MasterChef Australia that the royal family must avoid foods like garlic to keep things proper while in the public eye.
In a different season of her show, Meghan also faced a humorous moment when a guest criticized her earlier work. Mixologist Payman Bahmani-Bailey admitted he wasn’t a fan of the legal drama Suits, where she portrayed Rachel Zane. Markle responded to the comment with lightheartedness, knowing the show is considered a basic cable program and preferring shows with edgier content.
Despite receiving harsh reviews, Meghan has defended her work, joking that negative critics might be at home making simple comfort foods like spaghetti, implying that they are not as perfect as they appear.
