Amal Clooney Stuns in Vintage Fuchsia Minidress at Venice Film Festival
At this year’s Venice Film Festival, Amal Clooney showcased a striking vintage look, donning a vibrant fuchsia mini dress featuring a dramatic train. The 47-year-old human rights lawyer chose a classic Jean-Louis Scherrer design from fall 1995, crafted from taffeta, adorned with a row of front buttons, and accented with ruching details. She completed her ensemble with metallic Aquazzura heels, a gold Jimmy Choo clutch, and elegant drop earrings.
George Clooney, 64, made a rare appearance alongside Amal, recovering from a recent sinus infection that led to him pulling out of promotional appearances for the movie. The couple arrived in Venice on Wednesday, where Amal stunned in a butter-yellow Balmain midi dress. The previous evening, they were photographed enjoying a romantic night out in Lake Como, with Amal wearing a peach off-the-shoulder dress trimmed with ostrich feathers.
Amal has been frequently showcasing glamorous looks during her stay in Italy. Last month, she dazzled in a silver sequined midi dress with fringe embellishments during a night out. In a recent interview, Amal praised George’s supportiveness in her career, saying, “I don’t feel like I have to apologize for my work or hold back.”
The Clooneys, married since 2014, share twins Ella and Alexander. George often openly expresses his admiration for Amal, telling a morning show, “I feel so extraordinarily lucky to have met this incredible woman.”
