Jadon Sancho Shares First Inside Look at Man United ‘Bomb Squad’ Amid Rumors of Leaving Europe for U.S.

Jadon Sancho Shares First Photo from Inside Manchester United’s ‘Bomb Squad’ Amid Uncertain Future

Jadon Sancho has posted his first image from within Manchester United’s so-called ‘bomb squad,’ where several players are sidelined as the club navigates its squad reshuffle. The 25-year-old winger, who spent last season on loan at Chelsea, is anticipated to leave United this summer following a challenging four-year stint at Old Trafford.

Manchester United has informed Sancho that he is no longer part of their plans, with his contract expiring next year. Currently, he is among the senior players who have been kept out of first-team training while transfer discussions continue.

On social media, Sancho shared a picture with teammates Tyrell Malacia and Antony — both associated with the ‘bomb squad’ — and injured defender Lisandro Martinez, captioning it: ‘my brothers!’

Although Roma has shown interest and held talks with him, negotiations have stalled, partly due to Sancho’s personal relationship with American rapper Saweetie, who many believe influences his career decisions. Sancho, who has traveled to the U.S. multiple times recently, is contemplating ending his European career for a move across the Atlantic.

Speculation about his love life intensified when he was seen with Saweetie, whose name was inked on his neck earlier this month, and her image appeared as his phone’s lock screen. Earlier this year, he also notably shared a photo of her on social media during a celebration, fueling romance rumors. Their relationship seems to have a significant impact on his current career choices.

Sancho’s issues at Manchester United intensified after falling out of favor following a public dispute with former manager Erik ten Hag. He briefly played at Chelsea but opted against a permanent transfer, with the club choosing to pay a fee to cancel a deal instead of completing a sale. United is reportedly seeking a transfer fee of around £20-£25 million for Sancho, who earns approximately £250,000 weekly. Clubs like Juventus and Borussia Dortmund have also been linked with a possible move this summer.
