Millie Bobby Brown Plans to Become a Young Mom Before Adopting Baby Girl with Jake Bongiovi
Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi Welcome Their First Child Through Adoption
Millie Bobby Brown revealed her desire to start a family long before she married Jake Bongiovi, sharing insights about her aspirations during a podcast appearance. She explained that she wanted to become a young mother, inspired by her own mother’s early start—her mother, Kelly Brown, had her first child at 21, and her father, Robert Brown, at 19.
“I’ve always wanted to be a mom, just like my mom was to me,” Brown shared, emphasizing how her partner, Bongiovi, understood the importance of family to her. The couple married in May 2024, with Brown recalling her husband’s belief that starting a family was a vital part of their future. “It’s equally important for me to establish my career as an actress and producer, but having a family is a big personal goal,” she added.
The actress, who is one of four siblings, expressed that she doesn’t see a difference between biological and adopted children. “Our home is full of love for anyone and anything, and the house always has an open door,” she said.
On Thursday, Brown and Bongiovi announced via Instagram that they had expanded their family through adoption. “This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl,” they wrote in a joint statement, expressing their joy and excitement for this new chapter of parenthood.
Brown emphasized that starting a family is a shared goal with Bongiovi, stating, “We will always want to start a family, in whatever way it happens.” The couple, who initially sparked romance rumors in 2021, celebrated their marriage with a private ceremony and later a larger celebration in Italy.
