Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi Welcome Their First Child

Millie Bobby Brown, the 21-year-old actress, and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, 23, have become parents. The couple announced via Instagram that they adopted a baby girl this summer, expressing their joy and desire for privacy as they begin this new chapter.

“This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,” they shared. “We are overjoyed to start this beautiful journey of parenthood in peace and privacy.” They wrapped up their message with, “And then there were 3. Love, Millie and Jake Bongiovi.”

Earlier this year, Brown shared her thoughts on starting a family, revealing that she want to follow in her parents’ footsteps, who became young parents. “My mom had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19, so I’ve always wanted to be a mom like her,” she explained on a podcast. Her fiancé, Jake, understood how important this was to her.

Brown also expressed an open attitude towards adoption, indicating that she views both biological and adopted children with equal love. “For me, I don’t see having your own child as any different than adopting,” she said, affirming her belief that her home is filled with love for everyone.

In March, Brown discussed her desire to start a family, emphasizing her intention to establish herself as an actor and producer while also prioritizing personal life. She hinted that adoption was a possibility, showing her inclusive view of family.

Brown and Bongiovi married in a modest ceremony in May 2024 and celebrated a larger, more lavish wedding in Italy five months later. Their relationship, which began in June 2021, became public in November of that year. They announced their engagement in April 2023 after two years of dating and made their red carpet debut at the BAFTA Awards in London in March 2022.
