$2M Jewelry Heist in 90 Seconds: Seattle Smash-and-Grab Robbery
Quick Jewelry Store Heist in Seattle Nets $2 Million in Valuables
A fast-paced smash-and-grab robbery took place at a jewelry store in Seattle, resulting in an estimated loss of around $2 million worth of diamonds, luxury watches, gold, and other valuable items.
Surveillance footage shows four masked suspects demolishing the locked glass entrance with hammers before ransacking the display cases in just about 90 seconds. The suspects quickly grabbed high-value items, including Rolex watches worth approximately $750,000 and an emerald necklace valued at $125,000. Despite threatening store staff with bear spray and a Taser, no injuries were reported.
The store’s staff, visibly shaken by the incident, has now paused operations to conduct a full inventory and assess the total loss. Police arrived at the scene but the suspects had already fled in a vehicle, escaping law enforcement’s immediate grasp. An extensive search for the suspects is ongoing.
