Texas Cop Vows to Ticket Everyone After Lack of Action Night Before
Texas Deputy Under Investigation Following Viral TikTok Post
A viral TikTok video shows a Harris County Precinct 5 deputy promising to give tickets to “everyone” after she reportedly didn’t get intimate the night before. In the clip, the officer, Jennifer Escalera, is seen writing on a notepad with the caption, “Didn’t get cracked last night so everyone is getting a ticket,” suggesting her dissatisfaction with her personal life.
Escalera’s uniform is partially blurred, though her name tag remains visible. The incident has prompted an official investigation by her department, which confirmed that internal affairs has been looking into the matter.
Several posts on her TikTok account show Escalera in uniform, including one where she prepares to go to work as a police officer. The text overlay reads, “contemplating if I really need this job, knowing that I do.” Some residents expressed concern over her posts, deeming them unprofessional and disrespectful.
Public reaction has been largely critical. Local resident Alex Fitch stated, “It’s really inappropriate and disrespectful. It damages trust and makes officers seem unprofessional. They can’t be taken seriously when they post videos like that.” Others noted that such behavior could contribute to the community’s lack of respect for law enforcement.
