Rudy Reyes expressed pride in being a dedicated family man months before an alleged affair with Denise Richards came to light.

The former Marine, who met Richards during filming of “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test,” shared his experiences working on the show in a recent interview. He reflected on how celebrities on the show are there to rediscover themselves, many having been former stars in their fields. At the time, Reyes was committed to his then-partner, Jade Struck, a firearms instructor, and his two young children.

He elaborated on how aging and facing mortality have shifted his perspective, emphasizing the importance of responsibility and personal growth. Reyes, one of four ex-Special Forces operatives on the show, expressed pride in representing the Marine Corps and serving as an exemplar of resilience. They do not have children together, but Reyes has two kids from previous relationships. He also revealed that Richards begged him not to leave after he confronted her over suspicious messages, which she denied, claiming she only loved him. Reyes claims Richards later pleaded for him not to abandon her, despite the scandals.

Controversies and Allegations

Recent legal disputes involve Richards’ estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, who accused Reyes of having a months-long affair with Richards. Phypers claimed to have found explicit messages on Richards’ phone, which she allegedly begged him not to leave over. After Richards filed for divorce, Phypers accused her of physical abuse, claiming he was assaulted on July 4, the very date listed as their separation, citing her alleged addiction to Vicodin and infidelity.

The legal representatives for Richards and Phypers stated that Phypers has continued to harass Richards by sharing private information stolen from her devices, which he allegedly took. Richards’ lawyer characterized these actions as invasive and troubling.
