Stevie Nicks & Lindsey Buckingham Spark Reunion Rumors
Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham Share Cryptic Lyrics, Sparking Fan Frenzy
Last Thursday, legendary musicians Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham posted matching lines from their 1973 hit “Frozen Love,” igniting speculation among fans about a potential reunion or new project. Nicks shared a text-based image reading, “And if you go forward …,” followed by Buckingham posting the song’s concluding lyric: “I’ll meet you there.”
“Frozen Love” appears on the only album the duo released together before joining Fleetwood Mac in 1975. The mysterious shared lyrics have fueled rumors, especially since Nicks is preparing for her solo U.S. tour starting in August. Fans have long associated the pair’s intense romantic history—and their eventual breakup—with their music and public appearances.
The duo’s provocative posts follow a recent Instagram video posted by Fleetwood Mac drummer Mick Fleetwood, who praised “Frozen Love” as “unbelievable” and called the band’s formation “magic then, and still magic now.” Both Nicks and Buckingham liked Fleetwood’s post and started following each other on Instagram, prompting further speculation about a possible reunion, though neither has officially commented.
Of note, Nicks has publicly acknowledged the loss of bandmate Christine McVie in 2019, declaring it marked the end of Fleetwood Mac as they knew it. Despite the ongoing rumors, representatives for Nicks and Buckingham have yet to comment further on these recent social media activities.
