Family Tensions Keep Kendall and Kylie Jenner Away from Brody’s Wedding

Brody Jenner’s wedding to Tia Blanco was overshadowed by apparent family disagreements, resulting in Kendall and Kylie Jenner not attending the ceremony.

Sources indicate a longstanding feud between their mothers, Kris Jenner and Linda Thompson, has created tension that extends to their children. Although Kendall and Kylie had the opportunity to attend the celebration at Thompson’s Malibu home, they opted not to, reportedly to avoid drawing attention away from Brody and Tia.

While Kendall has tried to maintain a good relationship with Caitlyn Jenner’s family, Kylie is believed to have aligned herself more with the Kardashians. A source revealed, “Kylie feels more connected to the Kardashian side and considers her place as part of that family.”

Despite their absence, reports suggest the sisters chose not to attend out of concern that their presence might shift focus from Brody and Tia’s special day. An insider noted, “They thought their being there might distract from the bride and groom.”

The wedding was a private event with approximately 60 to 70 guests and took place shortly after Caitlyn Jenner mourned the loss of her close friend and former manager, Sophia Hutchins, in a tragic ATV accident. Caitlyn, who shares Brody and Brandon with Linda Thompson, attended the ceremony alongside her children, including Kendall and Kylie, though they chose not to participate publicly in the celebration.
