Morgan Wallen Assures Fans They’re ‘Safe’ After Kiss Cam Scandal
Morgan Wallen Comforts Concert Fans Amid Cheating Scandal
Country singer Morgan Wallen addressed his concert audience in Glendale, Arizona, reassuring fans they were “safe” following revelations about a scandal involving Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot, his HR chief. Byron was caught having an affair with Cabot during a recent Coldplay concert.
During his performance, Wallen joked, “Anyone here with their side chick or whatever, I believe you’re safe here,” adding, “I don’t condone cheating… anymore.”
The remarks came shortly after Coldplay’s frontman Chris Martin inadvertently exposed Byron and Cabot’s affair during a concert in Boston. When a kiss cam showed Byron with his arms around Cabot in the VIP suite, the couple appeared distressed and tried to hide. Martin commented, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.”
After the video circulated widely, it was discovered that Kristin Cabot was married to Andrew Cabot, CEO of Privateer Rum. Property records confirmed their shared residence in New Hampshire since 2023. The CEO’s wife, Megan Kerrigan Byron, also deleted her social media after dropping Byron’s last name, amid the scandal.
Further, Kristin was found to be married to Andrew Cabot, with property records indicating their shared address. The incident prompted Astronomer to launch a formal investigation, with both Byron and Cabot being placed on leave. Subsequently, Andy Byron announced his resignation from the company.
