Morgan Wallen Assures Fans They’re ‘Safe’ Despite Side Chick and Kiss Cam Scandal
Morgan Wallen Calms Fans After Coldplay Concert Scandal
Country singer Morgan Wallen reassured his concertgoers that they were “safe” following a controversy involving an affair caught on camera at a Coldplay show. The incident involved Andy Byron, CEO of the AI company Astronomer, and Kristin Cabot, the company’s HR chief. Byron was filmed with Cabot, sparking widespread speculation and discussions online.
During his performance in Glendale, Arizona, Wallen jokingly addressed the audience: “Anyone here with their side chick or whatever, I think you’re safe here,” adding, “I don’t condone cheating… anymore,” eliciting cheers from the crowd.
The scandal gained further attention after Coldplay frontman Chris Martin accidentally revealed information about Byron and Cabot during a concert in Boston. When a kiss cam focused on a suite, viewers saw Byron with his arms around Cabot, both looking uncomfortable and trying to hide. Martin commented, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy,” which fueled the online buzz.
Further investigation revealed that Kristin Cabot was married to Andrew Cabot, CEO of Privateer Rum, with property records indicating they shared a New Hampshire address since 2023. Meanwhile, Byron’s wife, Megan Kerrigan Byron, had deleted her social media profile after the viral video surfaced, and it was confirmed she no longer uses his last name publicly.
When the video went viral, it was also discovered that Byron and Cabot are married to different people. Kristin Cabot’s marriage to Andrew Cabot was confirmed through property records, and Byron’s wife had withdrawn from social media, possibly due to the scandal. Subsequently, Astronomer launched an investigation into the matter, and Byron resigned from his position on Saturday.
