Feud Escalates Between Donald Trump and Elon Musk

Former President Donald Trump has publicly criticized Elon Musk, intensifying their ongoing dispute. In a recent post on Truth Social, Trump accused Musk of losing his way and becoming a “train wreck” over the past month. He also criticized Musk’s proposal to establish a third political party, suggesting it would only cause chaos in the political landscape, which Trump believes is already disrupted enough by the Radical Left Democrats.

Trump emphasized that the current Republican Party is a well-functioning “machine,” contrasting it with third parties, which he claims are designed to create instability. He also lauded his recent legislative achievements, describing his “Big, Beautiful Bill” as significant, though he noted it abolishes the Electric Vehicle (EV) mandate—an initiative he had long opposed. Trump recalled campaigning against the EV mandate, which he said Musk was aware of when endorsing him.

Trump criticized Musk for suggesting a close business associate with Democratic ties could run NASA, calling it inappropriate given Elon’s space enterprise interests. Trump declared that his top priority is protecting the American public.

Responding to Trump’s criticisms, Musk mocked him on X (formerly Twitter), questioning “What’s Truth Social?” and sharing a dismissive comment about Trump’s social platform. Musk also posted a poll indicating that a majority of users want a new political party, which he announced would be called the “America Party,” aimed at restoring individual freedom and breaking the current one-party dominance.
