Taylor Swift Announces New Behind-the-Scenes Docuseries

Celebrating her record-breaking Eras Tour, Taylor Swift revealed a six-episode documentary series that offers a personal glimpse into her journey on the road, including moments of intimacy with her fans and team. The series will be available on Disney+ starting December 12.

Swift shared the exciting news with a heartfelt message, reflecting on the end of an era. She explained that the documentary was meant to capture the tour’s most meaningful moments and to document the final concert in its entirety.

The trailer showcases numerous candid moments, including Swift hugging and kissing Travis Kelce backstage, practicing with him for his stage debut, and sharing tender moments with her family. One particular scene shows Kelce carrying Swift on stage during a performance. Swift also features snippets from her personal life, such as removing makeup in a hotel room, describing her routine of unwinding after shows, and moments with her cats.

The documentary also captures her interactions with fellow artists like Sabrina Carpenter, Gracie Abrams, and Ed Sheeran who appeared in the trailer. In one scene, she is seen playing a red digital piano with the Disney+ logo displayed.

Other scenes include Swift rehearsing backstage, enjoying quiet moments, and celebrating with her crew. She also shared footage of her emotional moments, including a teary-eyed moment with her parents, Scott and Andrea Swift.

The Eras Tour spanned from March 2023 to December 2024, during which Taylor recorded two new albums — “The Tortured Poets Department” and “The Life of a Showgirl” — and re-recorded “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)” and “1989 (Taylor’s Version).”
