D4vd Transfers Texas Homes to Mom After Swatting Incident

Rapper D4vd Transfers Property to Mother Amid Investigation

The 20-year-old musician, originally from Queens and now based in Los Angeles, has transferred ownership of two Houston-area homes to his mother. The move occurred on September 18 and 22, with the properties held under a trust, according to legal records.

This decision coincided with a troubling incident at one of the homes, which was targeted by a swatting call. Authorities responded to the scene, where his mother confirmed only her immediate family was present during the police visit.

Recent investigations have cast a shadow over D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke. The scrutiny intensified after a dismembered 15-year-old girl, Celeste Rivas Hernandez, was found in his abandoned Tesla on September 9. Authorities believe she had been deceased for several weeks before discovery.

The victim’s mother revealed that Celeste had been dating someone named David, and online sleuths uncovered footage suggesting the rapper had spoken about grooming her. Following the tragic discovery, an unreleased song titled “Celeste” by D4vd circulated online, further fueling speculation and concern.

In the song, D4vd references Celeste, singing, “Oh, Celeste, the girl with my name tattooed on her chest, smell her on my clothes like cigarettes,” signaling a personal connection.

The rapper, who once performed at Coachella, recently canceled his upcoming tour and postponed his new album “Withered.” Major record labels and promotion companies have suspended all promotional activities pending the police investigation. D4vd is cooperating with authorities, and no charges have been filed at this time.
