Haaland Hilariously trolling Norway teammates and comparing one to a Man City star!

‘Have you been drinking?’: Erling Haaland amuses teammates in Norway training and likens a player to a Man City star

During Norway’s recent training session ahead of their World Cup qualifier, Erling Haaland displayed his playful side, amusing fans with his humorous comments while mic’d up for a social media video.

Haaland, who is in good spirits as Norway aims to secure their place in next year’s World Cup, was visibly energetic and joking around during drills. Currently top of their group with a perfect record, Norway looks poised to qualify, leading Italy by a significant margin.

In the light-hearted clip, Haaland cheerfully greeted teammates with enthusiasm and made several teasing remarks. Notably, during rondo drills, he mocked Benfica’s Andreas Schjelderup, telling him, “You’re allowed to be up on your toes, Schjelderup. It’s allowed.” He also jokingly compared goalkeeper Mathias Dyngeland to midfielder Rodri, a rare comparison to a Ballon d’Or winner.

Haaland couldn’t resist teasing Rangers’ Thelo Aasgaard with a playful, Mancunian-accented question: “Are you f***ing alright? Have you been drinking? What did you do last night?” He also tried to motivate fellow Manchester City teammate Oscar Bobb, imploring him to start running during drills.

Fans widely praised Haaland’s lively antics on social media. During training, he even offered advice on scoring, emphasizing that mentality often outweighs skill, stating, “Most things are not about quality. It’s all about mentality. You have to want to score.”

Haaland’s prolific international record continues to impress; he has scored 48 goals in 45 appearances for Norway, surpassing the previous record held by Jorgen Juve. This year, Haaland netted 10 goals during World Cup qualifiers, including five in a single match against Moldova.

In club football, he has maintained his high standards with 12 goals this season across the Premier League and Champions League, confirming his status as one of the world’s top forwards.
