Four Dead in San Francisco Home: Police Investigate Suspicious Deaths
Investigation Begins After Four Dead Found Inside San Francisco Home
Authorities are probing the suspicious deaths of four individuals, including two children, inside a home valued at approximately $2 million in San Francisco. The victims, believed to be family members, were found all at once when police responded to a welfare check just before 1:30 p.m. in the Westwood Highlands neighborhood.
The scene indicated a tragic event, with all four individuals declared dead at the location. Neighbors described the family as private and typical of the community, which is located about seven miles southwest of downtown San Francisco. They recalled hearing more than seeing the family, noting usual family routines like gardening and evening barbecues.
The victims included two girls, one approximately 12 or 13 years old, neighbors told reporters. The neighbor expressed shock over the incident, emphasizing the family’s normalcy and the quiet life they led.
Law enforcement officers primarily investigated the scene, which appeared to be a rare occurrence in the neighborhood. The medical examiner is working to determine the causes of death, but details remain undisclosed.
Officials have labeled the case as suspicious, with the San Francisco Police Department’s Homicide Division taking charge. While authorities have not confirmed a suspect, they consider this an isolated incident with no ongoing threat to the public.
As investigations continue, the identities and ages of the victims have not been released. The house, built in 1924 and sitting on a 5,362-square-foot lot, was last sold in 2014 for $1.35 million and is valued at about $2.1 million today.
