An unsettling bodycam video captures the moments when an Anaheim police officer shot and killed a man who charged at him wielding a shovel outside a school campus.

The incident began around 12:45 p.m. when officers responded to a call about a suspicious individual possibly under the influence, holding a brick and a shovel.

Officer saw the suspect, 36-year-old Rudy Anthony Martinez II, sprinting toward his patrol car while holding a shovel. Despite multiple warnings to stop, Martinez continued advancing and swung the tool at the officer.
