50 Cent Trolls Diddy Over Miami Plans After Prison Sentencing

50 Cent Takes Another Jab at Sean “Diddy” Combs Amid Sentencing

Following the sentencing of Sean “Diddy” Combs to four years in prison on sex trafficking charges, rapper 50 Cent continued to mock the music mogul. He posted a humorous message on social media, referencing Combs’ courtroom tears and joking about his speaking engagements.

“Hey to whoever was booking Diddy for speaking engagements. I heard he can’t make it,” 50 Cent wrote on his platform, accompanying a sketch of Combs crying. He added, “I’m available!”

The post highlighted prosecutors’ claims that Combs had scheduled several speaking events in Miami next week, seemingly to secure an early release. They argued this demonstrated his arrogance and disrespect for the legal system.

During the sentencing hearing, prosecutors described Combs’ actions as displaying “hubris,” and highlighted that he showed little understanding of the consequences of his behavior. The judge ultimately sentenced him to four years and two months, along with a $500,000 fine and mandates for mental health and substance abuse programs.

Combs, 55, has already served a year in jail, so upon completion of his sentence, he could be free in about three years. In July, he was found guilty of two counts of transportation for prostitution, which carries a maximum sentence of 20 years. However, the judge set the sentencing range between 5 to 7 years for each count, and he was acquitted of racketeering and sex-trafficking charges.

Despite the guilt on two counts, Combs’ overall sentence reflects the criminal violations he was convicted of. The legal process highlights the serious repercussions faced by the mogul amid ongoing legal issues.
