Jack Grealish Misses Out on England Squad Despite Outstanding Form

Jack Grealish’s recent resurgence at Everton has not yet earned him a call-up to the England national team. Despite impressing since joining Everton on loan from Manchester City, Grealish was not selected for the latest squad under head coach Thomas Tuchel.

The 30-year-old winger has recently expressed satisfaction with his improved form and enjoyment of football, contributing four assists in six Premier League matches under manager David Moyes. He admitted earlier this week that he did not help his cause at Manchester City but now appears revitalized.

However, his renewed performances haven’t translated into an England opportunity. Grealish was informed on Friday morning that he would not be part of Tuchel’s upcoming international camp. England is preparing for a friendly against Wales at Wembley followed by a World Cup qualifier against Latvia.

Grealish’s last appearance for England was during the Nations League victory in Finland, where he scored in the 3-1 win. Despite his excellent form earning him the Premier League Player of the Month award for August, he remains sidelined from the national team.

During his brief tenure as interim coach, Lee Carsley relied on Grealish, who responded with several strong performances. Ultimately, limited game time at Manchester City and his absence from recent squads have kept him out of contention for Tuchel’s selections, with England opting for players like Marcus Rashford and Anthony Gordon instead.
