Nikola Jović will remain with the Miami Heat for the foreseeable future. The team has agreed to a four-year contract extension worth approximately $62.4 million, confirmed by ESPN’s Shams Charania.

Jović was approaching the end of his initial four-year rookie deal after being selected 27th overall in the 2022 NBA Draft. Over the past season, he delivered a personal best with averages of 10.7 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game. His role within the team expanded significantly, as he averaged over 25 minutes on the court per game.
