Woman’s Car Sinks in Massachusetts Lake During ICE Arrest Protest
Protester’s Car Sinks in Massachusetts During Anti-ICE Demonstration
A protester opposed to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Massachusetts accidentally caused her vehicle to sink when it rolled into a lake. The incident occurred in Upton, a small town in Worcester County, roughly 40 miles west of Boston. According to an ICE source, the protester had been shouting at officers arresting an undocumented individual when she failed to put her car in park, leading it to drift into the water and submerge.
Video footage and a photograph, shared with Fox News by an ICE source, show the moment the vehicle begins to move into the lake, with a voice in the clip remarking, “Well that sucks. Look at that Lucy. Her car got lost,” as the car continues to sink. A police officer can also be seen passing in front of the camera while holding a person in handcuffs.
Demonstrators have been actively protesting ICE’s operations in the area for several weeks, seeking to oppose the agency’s presence and actions in the community.
