Candace Cameron Bure Reacts to Neck Editing for Movie Role

Candace Cameron Bure Reacts to Suggestion Her Neck Needed Digital Editing

Actress Candace Cameron Bure revealed she was taken aback when a filmmaker proposed digitally altering her neck for a movie scene. During a recent podcast episode, she shared that she had filmed a flashback scene intended to depict her character as being around 30 years old, about 15 years younger.

According to Bure, the post-production team planned to use visual effects to make her look younger by smoothing out wrinkles, crow’s feet, and smile lines. She was familiar with these edits but was surprised when the director also suggested working on her neck.
