Jodie Turner-Smith Wears Tech-Inspired Dress at Tron: Ares Premiere

Jodie Turner-Smith Stuns in Computer Parts Couture at “Tron: Ares” Premiere

At the Paris premiere of Tron: Ares, actress Jodie Turner-Smith made a striking statement with her unique fashion choice, wearing a gown crafted from vintage computer components. The stunning Schiaparelli couture dress incorporated salvaged circuit boards, chips, and electronic parts meticulously sewn onto a structured silhouette, paying homage to the film’s digital universe.

Designed by Daniel Roseberry, the dress was part of Schiaparelli’s Spring 2024 Haute Couture collection, which explored the tension between society’s fascination with artificial intelligence and nostalgia for early digital gadgets like flip phones and digital cameras. Roseberry remarked on sourcing obsolete tech, saying, “The technology I grew up with is so antiquated that it’s almost as hard to find as vintage fabrics.”

Turner-Smith complemented her look with a dazzling choker from the same collection and accessorized with Tiffany earrings and clear pumps. She played Athena, a formidable AI character, opposite Jared Leto’s Ares in the film.
