Andy Cohen’s Shocking Reunion Moment That Led to Weight-Loss Journey
Andy Cohen Reveals Weight Loss Journey Fueled by Recent Bravo Reunion
Andy Cohen credits hosting the “Valley” Season 2 reunion as the catalyst for his recent weight-loss efforts. He shared that after the reunion taping in May, he decided to start using a weight-management medication, which helped him shed significant pounds.
On the “Today” show, Cohen admitted he wasn’t feeling and looking his best during the reunion, recalling, “I couldn’t button my suits; it was so bad.” He also expressed discomfort with constantly seeing himself on camera, stating, “Looking at a monitor of ourselves every day is terrible.” As part of his transformation, Cohen began “a real fitness journey,” becoming more intentional about his diet and exercise habits.
He confided that he began microdosing a GLP-1 medication, which contributed to losing about 25 pounds. Earlier, Cohen had spoken on his radio show about reaching nearly 190 pounds at his heaviest, before dropping 25 pounds with the medication. He reflected on the past, mentioning that six years ago, he lost 12 pounds by reducing alcohol intake.
Cohen explained, “[I am] being more deliberate about what I put in my mouth and how I work out.” He emphasized that the medication helped curb his cravings, and he is now more disciplined. The star also credited his children, Benjamin and Lucy, for inspiring his ongoing commitment to health and wellness.
