LA Lakers Extend Head Coach JJ Redick**

The Los Angeles Lakers have renewed the contract of head coach JJ Redick ahead of the 2025-26 season, announced by general manager Rob Pelinka during media day.

Redick, 41, was hired last year with a four-year agreement. Although he previously lacked NBA coaching experience, he successfully led the team to a 50-win season and secured the third seed in the Western Conference.

Despite the strong regular-season performance, the Lakers were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs by the Minnesota Timberwolves.
