I Love Rangers and Want to Stay, Says Raskin

My situation is complicated but I love Rangers and want to stay, says Raskin

Nicolas Raskin has expressed his desire to resolve his complex situation at Rangers. The 24-year-old Belgian midfielder, who performed well for the club last season, was left out of the recent Old Firm match at Ibrox by manager Russell Martin.

After returning from international duty, Raskin scored his first goal for Belgium in a 6-0 victory over Kazakhstan in Brussels. Despite speculation about his future during the recent transfer window, no move materialized, and he remains committed to Rangers. He is expected to return to Glasgow shortly to discuss his role with Martin, who has reassured that their relationship remains strong.

In an interview with Dutch media outlet Voetbalkrant, Raskin stated: “My situation at the club is complicated. I will return, work hard, and try to get playing time again.”

He concluded: “A transfer? No, that’s out of the question. I want to stay and work everything out with the club.”
