Kristin Cavallari Sidesteps Questions on Jay Cutler Divorce Settlement

Kristin Cavallari Addresses Divorce Settlement During Airport Encounter

Kristin Cavallari avoided answering questions about her divorce settlement when approached by a reporter at LAX on Friday. Despite persistent inquiries about her ex-husband Jay Cutler’s recent criticisms, she remained silent.

In June, the reality star claimed on her podcast, Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour, that she had received no financial support from Cutler following their separation.

She emphasized, “I didn’t get any money from our divorce, so let’s just clear that up. Thank you.” Cutler responded last month, denying Cavallari’s claims on his podcast and asserting that he did not receive any money during the divorce proceedings.

Jay Cutler called Cavallari’s assertions “borderline slander” and declined to specify the amount paid during their divorce.

Cutler, who earned more than $120 million in his NFL career, argued that no judge in Tennessee would have approved a divorce settlement allowing him to retain every dollar earned during their marriage. He pointed out that their assets, including Cavallari’s business, Uncommon James, created during their union, were considered marital property.

The couple, who shares three children, announced their separation in 2020, finalized their divorce two years later.

Despite not revealing an exact amount, Cutler assured it was “definitely not zero.” He highlighted that legal documents, including a comprehensive divorce decree, support his assertion.
