Drake Responds to Plastic Surgery Rumors and ‘Fake’ Abs Accusations

Drake Addresses Rumors About His Abs and Cosmetic Procedures

In a recent interview, rapper Drake openly discussed the speculation surrounding the origins of his chiseled six-pack abs, which have sparked widespread talk about possible plastic surgery.

During a candid chat on her podcast, 28-year-old host Bobbi Althoff questioned Drake about rumors alleging he underwent abdominal etching. He clarified, “No, I haven’t done that.” She also brought up gossip that he had a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), jokingly calling him “BBL Drizzy.”

Addressing the glow-up, Drake explained that a recent photo showing his prominent abs was simply from a gym session. “I was sweaty in that picture,” he said, admitting he edited the photo beforehand.

“Maybe I enhanced the image a bit—perhaps increased the saturation or added some details with editing tools like Facetune,” he confessed, before noting how exaggerated the final image looked. “They don’t look like that in real life.”

The rapper had posted the photo after a workout session in June, which drew comments from followers mocking the authenticity of his abs. In the image, he was seen shirtless, standing by a mirror and flexing his muscles from behind.

He further revealed that he may have over-edited the photo, joking, “I think I hit it too hard,” and admitted that his abs were not as perfect as they appeared. Fans and critics alike took to social media to roast him, with some joking about ordering abs like they do products online.

Interestingly, a popular plastic surgery Instagram account alleged Drake has a history of cosmetic procedures, reposting a photo and hinting at his familiarity with the surgery table. Despite all the rumors, Drake maintains his stance, emphasizing that his impressive physique is mostly natural, with some light editing involved.

Overall, Drake’s honesty about his edited photos and denial of cosmetic interventions have sparked conversations about body image and authenticity in the social media era.
