Florida Man Runs Over Foot Model After Date Dispute Over Foot Smelling

Man in Florida Accused of Running Over a First Date Woman After She Refused His Unusual Request

A man in Florida was accused of running over a woman on their first date following a bizarre request and her refusal. The incident happened after the woman declined to let him smell her feet.

Elmoncy Sercle, 28, arranged a meeting through a dating app at a hotel in Aventura. During the encounter, he asked the woman if he could smell her feet and expressed interest in purchasing her used sneakers, offering $1,000 for them. The woman declined, stating she would retrieve her sneakers from her car, and she also refused his request to smell her feet.

While in the bathroom, the woman heard Sercle run out of the room and suspected he had stolen something. She then went to the parking lot and saw Sercle driving a red Mercedes SUV. As she approached, he passed her, then turned around and ran her over intentionally, according to police reports.

The victim sustained road rash, bruises on her back, arms, and chest and required immediate medical attention. She described the encounter as unprecedented, expressing shock over the unusual behavior.

Police arrested Sercle after he attempted to check into another room at the same hotel. He was charged with aggravated battery and pleaded not guilty during his arraignment.

“I’ve met many people with foot fetishes before, but nothing like this,” the woman shared. “By the grace of God, I’m still here.”
