Trump Suggests ‘Biden Autopen’ Portrait in White House Wall of Fame

Trump Plans to Create a Controversial “Presidential Wall of Fame”

Former President Donald Trump announced his intention to establish a new White House display called the “Presidential Wall of Fame.” This gallery, currently under construction in the Rose Garden, will feature portraits of past presidents, including a provocative new addition: a depiction of Joe Biden using an autopen.

Trump indicated he is committed to including a black-and-white portrait of Biden, deliberately excluding a smiling image. He expressed confidence that this display will generate significant controversy. The former president shared a mock-up of the proposed Biden portrait but did not release an actual image, noting it would stir public debate.

Donald Trump stated he personally signed a proclamation in honor of National Purple Heart Day after speaking in the East Room of the White House on August 7, 2025.

Trump believes that the inclusion of such a satirical portrait will be very controversial, predicting it will spark reactions across the political spectrum. The White House has previously launched an investigation into Biden’s use of an autopen—a device used to sign documents—after tens of thousands of records related to its use were handed over to Congress.

Some administration officials question the authenticity of Biden’s use of the autopen, emphasizing that it should only be used with explicit approval or direct instructions from the president. Trump also criticized Biden’s health, specifically referencing his reported Stage Nine prostate cancer, which he mentioned in an interview, calling it “highly exaggerated” since medical professionals recognize “Stage four” as the highest.

While Trump did not provide a copy of the proposed Biden portrait, he affirmed his decision to include it, asserting it would be a bold statement. The timing of the “Wall of Fame” unveiling remains unclear, but the White House has prioritized renovation projects, including a new $200 million ballroom scheduled to commence construction soon.
