Actress Charisma Carpenter Reveals Her Crush on Dermot Mulroney

Carpenter, 55, revealed she met Mulroney at the convention and unexpectedly “crashed” his photo session, eventually taking a picture with him, which she promised to share later. She fondly recalled auditioning for a role opposite him in “Chicago Fire” but did not land the part. She mentioned Mulroney’s kindness and talent, especially highlighting his role in “My Best Friend’s Wedding” and his performance in the Showtime series “Shameless.”

In a humorous exchange, Carpenter jokingly told Mulroney that he should manifest “being her husband,” though she clarified she hadn’t actually said it aloud but was thinking it.
