Blake Lively Denies Subpoenaing Megyn Kelly in Legal Dispute

Blake Lively has clarified that she did not serve a subpoena to Megyn Kelly amid her ongoing legal conflict with Justin Baldoni. A representative for Lively stated that the actress has not issued any subpoena to Kelly and emphasized that seeking evidence through discovery is a standard legal procedure to substantiate claims against Baldoni and others involved in her case.

Blake Lively’s spokesperson denied allegations of issuing a subpoena to Megyn Kelly.

This week, Kelly claimed on her SiriusXM show that Lively had subpoenaed her recently, but Kelly’s attorneys had successfully filed a motion to dismiss it. Kelly also criticized Lively, calling her a “narcissistic bully,” and suggested that her aversion toward Lively stemmed from her own feelings rather than external influence or smear campaigns.

Kelly dismissed Lively’s claims, asserting her feelings are genuine and not influenced by external parties.

Kelly also rejected accusations that she was paid to promote an anti-Lively agenda. She insisted her sentiments against Lively developed organically, dismissing any notions of manipulation. Furthermore, Kelly disputed claims that Baldoni and his attorney paid journalists to attack her reputation, asserting that her opinions are authentic.

Kelly’s spokesperson declined further comment, indicating that the matter is largely about semantics regarding whether a subpoena was issued. Meanwhile, Lively has subpoenaed several other individuals and media personalities, including Candace Owens and Perez Hilton, as part of her fight against Baldoni.

Justin Baldoni responded by filing a $400 million countersuit against Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, which was later dismissed. The two are scheduled to go to court in March 2026 to resolve their legal disputes.
