Man United Fans Pay Nearly £770 to Play Five-A-Side with Club Legend Paul Scholes

Football enthusiasts have reportedly paid close to £770 to participate in a five-a-side match alongside Manchester United icon Paul Scholes. The event is scheduled to take place on a rooftop at Hotel Football in Manchester, owned by fellow Reds Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs, in September.

The ticket price is £750, with an additional £18.75 service fee. All tickets have already sold out, just over a week before the game. The package includes a selfie with Scholes, an autograph from the former midfielder, and a complimentary burger with fries.

Scholes, who scored 155 goals during his lengthy career at United, is a celebrated member of the renowned Class of ’92. His trophy cabinet boasts 11 Premier League titles, three FA Cups, two Champions League titles, two League Cups, an Intercontinental Cup, and a FIFA Club World Cup.

Although mostly retired from professional football, Scholes briefly served as interim manager of Salford City, which he co-owns with Neville and Giggs, before they sold their shares earlier this year.

In recent personal news, Scholes was caught on camera reacting humorously when his daughter Alicia, 24, entered the room wearing an Arsenal jersey during last weekend’s Manchester United season opener against Arsenal. The clip shows Scholes telling her to “take it off,” to which she replied with a firm “No.”

Alicia is one of three children with wife Claire Froggatt, alongside sons Arron, 25, and Aiden, 20. The legendary midfielder also made headlines for his playful rivalry with Arsenal, which was highlighted in his reaction to his daughter’s choice of team apparel.
