Ghislaine Maxwell Clears Trump & Others in DOJ Interviews
Ghislaine Maxwell Claims She Never Saw Donald Trump in an Inappropriate Setting
Ghislaine Maxwell has reassured supporters that she never witnessed any improper conduct involving the men who socialized with Jeffrey Epstein, including Donald Trump. In her recent interviews with Justice Department officials, Maxwell stated, “I never, ever saw any man doing something inappropriate with a woman of any age. I never saw inappropriate habits.”
Despite her conviction on charges related to sex trafficking minors and conspiracy, Maxwell remains outspoken. She refuted allegations made by victims, including Virginia Giuffre, and denied any knowledge of Epstein recording his encounters or maintaining a client list. Maxwell also claimed that prominent figures such as Bill Clinton and others had no inappropriate involvement with Epstein or his illegal activities.
Regarding accusations against Prince Andrew, Maxwell said he never visited Epstein’s private island and insisted, “President Clinton was my friend, not Epstein’s.” She also dismissed claims about Jeffrey Epstein’s relationships with other high-profile individuals, including Harvard’s Larry Summers and lawyer Alan Dershowitz, asserting she had no recollection of any inappropriate behavior involving them.
Maxwell admitted to creating Epstein’s “birthday book” but couldn’t recall whether Donald Trump or other influential figures contributed to it. She emphasized her memory gaps, suggesting that her lack of recall could serve her interests, especially amid ongoing investigations.
While her statements may be viewed as an attempt to distance herself from Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged misconduct, her denials and claims of ignorance appear to be strategic. Prosecutors note Maxwell lied under oath during her trial, which could undermine her credibility. Her public assertions seem aimed at protecting her defenses, but whether they will influence her legal outcomes remains uncertain.
