Collin Gosselin Urges Siblings to Reconnect in New Video
Strained Siblings Reach Out After Family Rift
Collin Gosselin has publicly expressed a desire to reconnect with his estranged siblings, sharing a heartfelt message and a video plea for them to understand who he truly is.
In a recent TikTok Live, the 21-year-old revealed, “I don’t talk to my siblings, and I wish we did, because they don’t really know me at all.” He added that social media has become a way for him to share his story and hopes his siblings will see his videos.
While he maintains contact with one sibling, Hannah, both are busy with college and rarely see each other. Collin shared, “I text her whenever I can. She’s out there living her life and having fun, but I’d love to spend more time together.”
Earlier this month, Collin publicly mourned the separation from his siblings, posting a throwback photo with the caption: “Born to be a team, us against the world…” He lamented being “forced apart,” questioning what their lives might have been like if they had stayed united.
He also shared a personal post with a picture of himself in a car, writing an emotional message about feeling isolated—“Forced to do it alone, and wonder every day what our lives could’ve looked like.”
Despite these feelings, Collin still keeps in touch with his twin sister Madelyn, 24, and sibling Leah, 21. “I love them more than anything,” he wrote in a touching social media post, expressing regret over the missed memories and tears shed over what could have been.
He has also been vocal about past abuses, claiming his mother, Kate Gosselin, singled him out in front of his siblings and subjected him to horrific treatment, including being “zip-tied” and locked in a basement as a child. Kate, however, has denied involvement in the family’s estrangement, stating, “He knows why….”
After Collin’s release from an institution in 2018, a full family feud ensued, with Collin blaming his mother for the distance. Kate seems to attempt to brush off the rift, sharing moments of her children’s close bonds in recent TikTok videos, describing their gatherings as joyful and full of laughter.
