Missing 7-Month-Old Emmanuel Haro: Parents Urged to Rejoin Search

Authorities are calling on the parents of Emmanuel Haro, a 7-month-old boy missing for nearly a week in California, to participate actively in the ongoing search. Public pressure has increased as doubts about their cooperation grow.

Rebecca and Jake Haro initially reported Emmanuel was kidnapped while they were outside a sporting goods store. However, the couple has since stopped speaking with investigators after inconsistencies emerged in Rebecca’s account. The investigation expanded to their home in Cabazon, where search teams used cadaver-sniffing dogs and seized a family vehicle.

Jake Haro’s attorney, Vincent Hughes, claims his client is still cooperating, but law enforcement’s statements suggest otherwise. The sheriff’s office indicated that if the parents choose to assist, they would welcome their cooperation as efforts to find Emmanuel continue.

Community groups, including the Uvalde Foundation for Kids, which previously withdrew a reward offer, have publicly challenged the couple to aid in the search. The foundation urged them to come forward, assuring support if they have nothing to hide.

Authorities highlighted that Emmanuel was last seen wearing a black Nike onesie, weighing about 21 pounds and standing roughly 24 inches tall, with brown hair and eyes, and a crossed eye. Despite the public and community appeals, law enforcement states that Emmanuel remains their primary focus, and they are dedicated to finding him.
