Austin Butler Saves Zoë Kravitz from a Bee at ‘Caught Stealing’ Premiere
Austin Butler Safely Intervenes Amid Bee Encounter at UK Premiere
During the UK premiere of their film, two stars faced a surprising moment when a bee unexpectedly flew close to Zoe Kravitz’s face. Austin Butler quickly stepped in to help her wave the insect away, ensuring no one was stung. The bee buzzed around them for a moment before flying off harmlessly, with Butler calmly observing the situation.
Kravitz appeared startled as the bee hovered nearby, prompting her to yell as it approached. Director Darren Aronofsky and Butler watched amused by the unexpected incident. The bee persisted in circling, even hovering above Butler’s hand before eventually flying away.
This isn’t the first time Kravitz had a close call with a bee on a red carpet; in a previous event, she was noticeably alarmed when a bee approached during a premiere. Butler had previously attempted to rescue Emma Stone from a buzzing bee at the Cannes Film Festival, blowing on it to try to distract the insect as Stone reacted nervously.
In addition to his on-screen roles, Butler shared with a publication that he put on 35 pounds to portray a baseball player with a distinctive physique for their upcoming film, “Caught Stealing,” directed by Aronofsky. Kravitz stars as Yvonne, his character’s love interest.
Rumors of a budding romance between Butler and Kravitz have circulated, especially after they were spotted together attending an immersive theater show in New York City last month. Despite speculation, a source indicated their relationship was “nothing serious,” suggesting they’re enjoying each other’s company amidst recent personal changes for Kravitz.
