Jana Duggar and Stephen Wissmann Expect Their First Child

Jana Duggar and her husband, Stephen Wissmann, are revealing they are expecting their first child together.

The couple shared their joyous news on Instagram with a post showing Wissmann kissing Jana and touching her baby bump, along with a caption: “We are so excited, January 2026 is going to come with a little bundle of joy joining our family!”

The announcement included a series of photos highlighting their happiness and anticipation, with Jana dressed in a green dress accentuating her pregnancy and Wissmann in a white shirt and khaki pants.

The couple expressed their excitement about this new chapter, saying, “We’re counting down the days and eagerly looking forward to this thrilling new chapter in our lives!”

Jana’s sister Jill also shared her happiness in the comments, saying, “So excited for y’all! ❤️.”

In a recent outdoor maternity shoot, Jana wore a fitted green dress, and Wissmann sported a casual white shirt and khakis, celebrating their upcoming addition to the family.

The couple tied the knot in August 2024 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, in a ceremony attended by around 500 guests. Jana wore an ivory satin ballgown, walking down the aisle to “Holy, Holy, Holy,” with her father, Jim Bob Duggar, as her escort. Many of her sisters participated as bridesmaids, including Jessa Duggar Seewald, Jinger Duggar Vuolo, Joy-Anna Forsyth, Johannah Duggar, and Jordyn-Grace Duggar.

Jana, the oldest daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, is a twin with John David Duggar. She met Wissmann through their families; her brother Jeremiah is married to his sister Hannah. While her sister Jill attended the wedding, she was not part of the bridal party.
