Brooklyn High School Alumna and Youth Organizer Faces Criminal Charges

A woman claiming to be a youth organizer for a prominent congresswoman has been accused of inciting violence against Jewish students. She is a former student of Leon M. Goldstein High School for the Sciences in Manhattan Beach, known as a popular teenager and “biggest flirt” during her time there.

During her high school years, she participated in the school’s musical productions and came from a wealthy background, growing up in a mansion. Classmates recall that she showed no signs of radical tendencies while in school. Her yearbook quotes her saying, “Fear is stupid, so is regret,” alongside her photo.

After high school, she became known as a youth organizer and volunteered on a political campaign. She maintained a significant social media presence, following over 9 million accounts, including that of the congresswoman she claimed to work with.

Controversy arose when she posted a screenshot of her former school’s location on Google Maps with a caption targeting the Jewish community, calling the school “a public school in NYC to attack for whatever reason” and using offensive language. Following this post, she was arrested by the police on charges of making a terroristic threat, harassment, and threats of mass harm.

Her social media activity also included a call for violence against the school, which the police linked to her arrest. She quickly hired a high-profile criminal defense attorney, Geoffrey Stewart, whose father was previously convicted of aiding a terrorist. Legal experts expressed concern over her release on bail until her court date, with some relating it to broader security worries.

Details about her current employment are unclear, though reports indicate she was involved with the Brooklyn-based AM:PM Gallery. Rep. Ocasio-Cortez’s office did not comment on the incident.

She is scheduled to face the charges in court on November 19.
