Actor Accuses Estranged Wife of False Claims Amid Divorce
The actor has publicly accused his estranged wife of plotting to make false and disturbing allegations against him during their ongoing divorce proceedings.
He revealed that she has discussed plans to accuse him of psychological abuse, child endangerment, theft, and other misconduct, even admitting she does not believe these claims are true but intends to use them to gain an advantage in court and public opinion.
In his statement, he shared that to protect his children, he is releasing text messages from his wife detailing her strategy to fabricate claims in hopes of regaining or increasing custody rights.
The wife reportedly told him she was advised to make possible claims she did not believe to be true, aiming to create urgency around regaining custody or securing joint custody of their children.
The couple’s legal battles followed incidents including a police call in June, which led to her temporary hospitalization and a restraining order, both of which were later resolved with new custody arrangements.
The wife also alleged in social media posts that she was “held against her will” by friends during her attempt to file for divorce. These claims came amid reports of a family fight at their Utah home, leading to her hospitalization and an alleged choking incident in March.
The actor criticized these claims as baseless and damaging, emphasizing the traumatic impact on their children and calling for privacy as he seeks to resolve their issues. He expressed concern over the spread of unreliable information, stating his intention to maintain respect for his family during this tumultuous time.
