Oklahoma Child London Kerr Sold by Mom to Meth Dealer Amid Abuse Reports

Missing Oklahoma Girl Allegedly Subjected to Severe Abuse and Sold to a Meth Dealer

A two-year-old girl from Oklahoma, London Kerr, reportedly endured extreme abuse by her parents before being handed over to a methamphetamine dealer. The child was last seen in 2022 in the care of her mother’s drug dealer.

Arrested on August 5, Ashley Ceejay Rowland, 39, and her boyfriend Joshua Denton, 40, are linked to the case. Rowland admitted to police that she gave London to a man named “Carlos” in exchange for drugs, planning for him to travel to Mexico with the girl. Before surrendering her, both parents allegedly punished her cruelly, shooting her with a BB gun, beating her with a paddle inscribed with “The Last Resort,” and locking her in a closet. Teenagers in the household reported that Denton and Rowland also force-fed the child hot peppers, poured hot sauce into her eyes, and that Denton had previously assaulted a teenage girl in the home.

Police found a paddle with the phrase “The Last Resort” at their residence. Rowland’s stepchildren described ongoing abuse involving physical violence and sexual assault by Denton, who also faces nine felony charges, including child abuse, forcible sodomy, and lewd acts involving a minor. Rowland is charged with enabling child abuse and has prior charges related to child abandonment from last year.

The search for London continues, with authorities emphasizing the urgency of her safe return. She was due to turn six in September. The initial realization that she was missing came during a failed Department of Human Services attempt to recover her in April 2023.
