MGK Reveals 4-Day Water Fast After Diet Comments Spark Concern

Machine Gun Kelly Shares Details of His Strict Diet and Personal Life

Machine Gun Kelly has opened up about his unconventional diet, revealing he often eats only a few times a week. He described undertaking multi-day water fasting routines, sometimes lasting four days, especially after leaving rehab in early January. During these fasts, he abstains from all food and non-water drinks, pushing his body to its limits.

He recalled beginning a fast—initially motivated by stress and the nearby Los Angeles wildfires, which threatened his home. Despite feeling physically drained and delirious, he continued the fast, even as the fires approached closely with a neighbor, Michael B. Jordan, observing the scene. Kelly collected personal items like letters, a Banksy piece, and a Picasso during this period.

He disclosed that his fasting diet mainly consists of water, celery juice, coconut water, and occasionally bone broth with probiotics like kimchi and sauerkraut to maintain gut health. Kelly admitted he sometimes experiences lightheadedness or weakness, prompting concern among social media users who view his diet as potentially dangerous or indicative of an eating disorder.

The musician explained that his fasting routines are intense and sometimes leave him in a state of confusion. He emphasized that he occasionally pushes himself to these limits, acknowledging the physical toll involved. His recent viral comments about not really eating sparked widespread concern about his health.

Personal Life and Relationship with Megan Fox

In addition to his diet, Kelly discussed his tumultuous on-again, off-again relationship with actress Megan Fox. The couple, who parent a daughter named Saga—born in March—have kept details private, despite speculation about their split last year after Fox reportedly found messages from other women on Kelly’s phone. Kelly assured that there has been no public drama and that many rumors are beyond his control.

He also addressed his lyrics in the song “Treading Water,” from his new album “Lost Americana,” where he admits to having lied and broken his family, vowing to make changes for his daughter’s future.
