Harry Kane Faces Tough Challenges on Return to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
During a friendly match against Bayern Munich, former Tottenham teammate Cristian Romero delivered aggressive tackles on Harry Kane, who recently rejoined Bayern from his previous club. Kane, 32, marked his return to north London by scoring the opening goal for Bayern, with the match ending in a 4-0 victory for the Bundesliga champions.
The game saw Kane being subjected to some intense physical play, notably from Romero. The Argentine defender clattered into Kane shortly after the match began, and later, in the 41st minute, received a yellow card for pulling Kane back cynically as he attempted a counterattack. Romero’s aggressive play continued into the second half, later bundling into Kane after missing an attempt to win the ball, causing Kane to momentarily recover on the turf.
