Blake Lively Slams Perez Hilton Over 500 Disparaging Stories About Justin Baldoni
Blake Lively Criticizes Perez Hilton for Defamation
Blake Lively has filed a lawsuit accusing Perez Hilton of extensively damaging her reputation over the past year. Her legal team reports that Hilton, who claims to be an original influencer, has posted over 500 videos, 400 headlines, and numerous comments about her across various platforms. His website features a dedicated section to her, which she contends is filled with disparaging content created without her input.
In her court documents, Lively’s attorney states that Hilton’s material largely consists of negative commentary, often published without attempts to obtain her or her representatives’ responses. The lawyer also highlights that Hilton’s posts have called her a “bully,” “savage,” and other derogatory terms, particularly amid her ongoing dispute with Justin Baldoni, her co-star in It Ends With Us.
The actress asserts Hilton’s activities do not align with journalistic standards, noting he does not present himself as an independent journalist. The filing was submitted to the Southern District of New York as part of her effort to enforce a subpoena she issued against Hilton, who has sought to block the subpoena citing privacy concerns. Hilton, whose real name is Mario Armando Lavandeira, Jr., responded via YouTube, arguing that the case should be heard in his jurisdiction of Las Vegas.
Lively’s legal team details Hilton’s public accusations, including labeling her as a “bully,” which she claims are part of a smear campaign. Both Hilton and Candace Owens deny conspiring with Baldoni’s team to damage her reputation.
Hilton has dismissed Lively’s legal actions, describing her latest motions as turning the case into a “circus,” and has called her attorney’s conduct “reprehensible.” Meanwhile, Lively is also suing Baldoni for sexual harassment and retaliation, with their case scheduled for trial in March 2026. Baldoni has denied any misconduct, attributing her reputational issues to her own public remarks and actions.
