The death certificate of the legendary rocker listed his occupation simply as “songwriter, performer, and rock legend,” reflecting his iconic status in music history.

Ozzy Osbourne died on July 22 at the age of 76. His cause of death was confirmed to be a cardiac arrest, compounded by coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease with autonomic dysfunction.

His daughter Aimée Osbourne, 41, filed the death certificate in London, and her family paid tribute in a public memorial held in Birmingham, England, last week. Osbourne’s family members took part in the procession through his hometown, honoring his legacy and impact.

Ozzy is survived by his wife Sharon and six children, including Aimée, Kelly, and Jack Osbourne. Sharon, reportedly devastated by his loss, honored him by wearing one of his rings on a chain around her neck during the funeral.

In a private funeral at his home, attended by family and friends including Marilyn Manson, Ozzy was mourned by loved ones. His family released a joint statement saying, “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love.”

Following his passing, Kelly Osbourne expressed gratitude to fans via social media for their support during her grieving process. Jack Osbourne also shared a heartfelt tribute featuring never-before-seen photos, saying, “My heart is full of sadness and sorrow, but also love and gratitude. I got 14,501 days with that man, and that is such a blessing.”
