Bulls Reintroduce Michael Jordan-Era Pinstripe Uniforms as New Statement Editions
Chicago Bulls Unveil New Statement Edition Uniforms for 2025-26 Season
The Chicago Bulls have announced a return to their iconic black-and-red pinstripe uniforms for the upcoming 2025-26 season, reminiscent of their dominant era in the 1990s. This marks the first time since the 2012-13 season that the team has worn this classic look.
Originally introduced in the 1995-96 season, these jerseys have made several appearances over the years, including the 1996-97, 2007-08, and 2012-13 seasons. The new uniforms pay homage to the Bulls’ championship-winning past, reigniting memories of their legendary championship runs.
To celebrate the reveal, the franchise featured a special video with Dennis Rodman, who won two championships with the Bulls wearing the same style. In the video, Rodman described the jerseys as “legendary” and expressed excitement about their return, noting that they are not just a throwback but a fresh look for a new generation.
The Bulls’ reintroduction of the pinstripe jerseys mirrors recent moves by other teams owned by Jerry Reinsdorf, like the Chicago White Sox, which also adopted a black-and-red pinstripe design earlier this year as part of their City Connect uniforms.
While the new look is a nod to the past, the team’s outlook for the upcoming season remains uncertain. After finishing last season with a 39-43 record, the Bulls currently have modest championship odds, with few notable offseason additions, including Isaac Okoro and first-round pick Noa Essengue.
