Brandi Glanville Suffers Severe Burns While Treating Facial Parasite

Brandi Glanville Suffers Severe Burns After Using Nair on Her Face

The former reality TV star, Brandi Glanville, experienced a painful skin reaction after applying Nair hair removal cream directly to her face in an attempt to eliminate a facial parasite. She shared graphic images and videos of her burned and red skin on her TikTok account, warning followers about the dangers of her mistake.

Glanville, 52, captioned her post, “You don’t have to spend a lot on peels and lasers anymore,” joking about her accidental injury. She revealed she left the cream on for seven minutes, which caused significant damage, including burns that peeled off some loose skin on her arms and face. She advised her fans to always perform a patch test before using chemical hair removers on their skin.

In her video, she sarcastically joked, “I know I look attractive,” as she showed her inflamed, blotchy skin around her chin, cheeks, and nose. She warned viewers, “Don’t leave Nair on your face for as long as I did,” emphasizing that her overextension resulted in burns and painful discomfort.

Glanville had previously disclosed that she was battling a facial parasite, which she claimed to have kept at bay by exfoliating her face. She revealed that her skin damage has led to costly medical bills, amounting to over six figures, and she admitted she is “out of funds” for further treatments. To cope with the pain, she shared a homemade remedy—spraying a mixture of aloe vera, cucumber, and black tea kept in the freezer.

Her medical ordeal is an extension of her ongoing struggle with the parasite, first publicly revealed last December, and her subsequent hospitalization in April due to severe symptoms, including immobilization. Despite her health challenges, Glanville continues to seek solutions and shared her experience as a cautionary tale about the dangers of DIY beauty treatments.
